Annie Coulton
Bsc Physiotherapy

Annie graduated from La Trobe University, Victoria, in 1995. Annie followed her interests in musculoskeletal and rehabilitation physiotherapy, working for many years with the Australian Defence Force. Her clinical experience includes working with the elderly and as a university guest lecturer to physiotherapy students on multi trauma rehabilitation. She has completed post graduate training in hydrotherapy and dry needling.

Annie is passionate about personal wellbeing and empowering people to reach their physical goals and potential, remaining pain-free if possible. She believes in giving clients the skills for on-going self care. Annie speaks from both the therapist’s and patient’s points of view, having been her own rehabilitation therapist, taking two years to learn to walk again unaided following a near fatal paragliding accident which left her back and neck fractured in 7 places, both legs and numerous ribs fractured and a lung punctured. Annie understands that not all injuries have a quick fix, that many need ongoing care and maintenance, sometimes for life. She encouragingly advises this does not need to be a chore, but can be fun, with clinical pilates and yoga being fantastic mediums for achieving physical and emotional wellness.

Annie is a fully qualified dma Clinical Pilates Instructor and joins the Kimberley Physiotherapy team focusing on co-treatment reformer regimes.
